If you want your own house then the one in Solitude or Markarth isnt bad. For mage hmm All houses are pretty much alike so if you want something special just for a mage then I'd go with Arch-mage quarters.
I like Honeyside or Breezehome for vanilla homes due to vendor proximity and features.īreezehome lacks enchanting and Honeyside lacks smelting access. But I can overload my follower if necessary for selling. I can get a garden, alchemy station, enchanting station and full forge and smelting operation in close proximity.
